After a torturous hour of figuring out how the media player for the TV worked, 'Alice in the Wonderland' finally appeared in HD with sound! During the movie, I peered back at my grandparents who were also in the living room (I was hogging up the TV time slot which had always been used to watch their evening HK shows). My grandfather, who was originally trying to feign interest in the film since he could read the Chinese subtitles, had dozed off into snores. And my grandmother, equally disinterested, was absorbed in her habit of picking dead skin off her feet (the results are mega-gross btw). As ordinary and plain as this event was, the mirthful sight did induce lingering laughter throughout watching the movie. I'm just happy that they are always willing to break some of their old habits for my sakes, and I hope that they will just keep being themselves for as longgg as possible :)

Dream

I had a dream where I was helping my little cousin pick out really cute outfits for a special occasion. She was soooo cute in this blue-and-yellow dress that I wanted my aunt to buy it for her! I made my cousin parade around my aunt in the dress so my aunt would get the hint to buy it, but my aunt just acted totally indifferent and cold. My cousin and I then retreated back to the changing area feeling depressed and defeated. THEN I REMEMBERED MY COUSIN'S A GUY HAHAHAHA and I tried to dress him up in a dress omg. I'm going mad.

haha reading a uni professors blog and he said there's nothing better for his ego than having a class full of students scribbling furiously every word that comes out of his mouth. i wonder if our teachers feel that way too haha

this must be the most unproductive two weeks i spent at home LOL i should've just gone to msia

anyways i only watched a total of 2 movies in the theatres these weeks
a team and toy story 3 hahahaha

omg i lvoed a-team, it was hilarious even tho the storyline is so unrealistic and lame lol, the insane guy was AWESOME HAHA, my favorite part is when the character jessica biel was playing comes to find him in the mental hospital and he pretends to be extremely mentally retarded LOL then the truck comes crashing into the wall HAHAHA omg the best

toystory was okay. it didnt make me cry which is quite sad cuz i cry watching most of pixar's movies haha. some parts were funny though. i loved barbie HAHA OMG NO my favorite part has to be when mr potato uses a circular sandwich wrap for a body OMGGGGGGGG THE BEST HAHAHAHAHA HE KEPT FLOPPING AROUND. okokok i'm going to die. that part was really funny lol until the pigeon pecked him away lol

nba finals

omg ron artest was so cute LOL!! he keeps thanking his psychiatrist in his interviews after the finals. he's hilarious LOL. they were asking about his 3-pt shot today and he was like KOBE  PASSED THE BALL. he never passed the ball in the first half but he passed the ball THANK GOD HE PASSED THE BALL *WOO* hahahaha so funny!

Memories

I remember distinctively a time in elementary school when we were asked to do a science project for class. Now, we were only like 10 or 11 then, so these projects were pretty lame. I chose one that involved making your very own sugar crystals. The project required a jar filled with water mixed with sugar, and a string tied to a pencil that would be the formation site of the crystals. I waited earnestly for days on end and the stupid crystals never formed. So, I did the next best thing and took the rock candy from the kitchen cabinets, smashed up some into little pieces, and brought them to school for my presentation and everyone believed I made them. I felt so proud of myself for tricking them wuhahaha. so lame yes :D

and I remember someone else who presented his white prune-like finger that had been intentionally bandaged for several weeks for his super lame project. I wondered what he was trying to even test. LOL omggggggg I miss the simple life.

Just came across an article on a China student named Suo Pengfei who is one of the millions of students in China taking the gaokao (college-entrance exams) this year... but the thing is, he has no arms! he uses his toes to write... simply amazing, i think that's really strong of him... to have the will to re-teach himself to do simple tasks that we all sometimes take for granted (well at least i do) :(

okay i wasted like 4 hrs watching basketball clips on youtube.. i'm going to turn brain dead i swear

my gp pile is full of random crap. cuz that's what gp is about. random crap. but now i have to organize that pile of crap by themes. oh god :(
anyways some trivia from my organizing session!
- my southeast asia hist's readings, tutorials, sample essays, and self-attempted essay outlines= folder = FATTEST amount of papers out of all my classes... (not including the notes).. i swear the ring folder is about to burst
- political structures take up about 1/4 of my SEA folder... when it is only 1/3 topics of 1/4 themes in sea= notes should be commensurate with 1/12 :@
- second in line would be all the notes, tutorials, assignments, self-done essays/outlines from microeconomics... it's so fat. i can't imagine carrying this heavy folder with me anywhere but luckily there are a lot of useless notes to sieve through and throw out. but i am so disheartened by the thought of all the time i need to do that :(
- ok i'm really lazy to go on. hahahhaa ok bye

omg my back is killing me
just spent i think a total of 5 hours organizing my lit notes
stupid me. to pick lit first out of all the other subjects. ughh my back is dying.
it wasnt a cumulative 5 hrs cuz i kept getting distracted but the past 1 and a half hr was fully dedicated to duffy.
now organizing THAT was horrible omg
tried to organize by the themes... along with my answered questions... and sometimes i came across with two poems from different themes being printed on the same page... hahaha seriously. the duffy poems were printed out so weirdly.. :(
but the finish product = 2 fat ring files, one for paper 1 and one for paper 2. i'm quite satisfied with my work!
even though that's all the work i've to show for today...

anyways, i've been super lazy to blog lately... and too tired. it seems like my body is forcing me to make up for the deficient hours of sleep i've piled on during school time. i can't wait until tomorrow morning! i'm going to try and catch the live stream nba finals game 5 HAHAHA. watching lakers vs. celtics again reminds me of 2008 in new york when i watched the lakers get owned by the celtics and lost 10 bucks :(
